Incorrect use

What to never do with the logo.

Do not

Inviolable rules

These mistakes break brand recognition. If a piece requires any of them, the solution is in the layout — not in the logo.

  1. Do not distort. Never stretch or squash the logo; always resize keeping the proportion.
  2. Do not change the colors. Use only the primary or the negative version. No red logo, gradient or outline.
  3. Do not place it on low-contrast backgrounds. Light petrol on deep petrol, for example, has a contrast of only 2.57:1.
  4. Do not place it on busy photos without a solid color area behind it.
  5. Do not add effects. No shadow, glow, bevel or 3D.
  6. Do not rewrite the name in another font, or rearrange the lines of the logo.
  7. Do not rotate the logo or use it tilted.

When in doubt

Use the negative version on deep petrol (#1b4c64). It is the safest combination, with a contrast of 9.27:1.
